Happy Monday, Southwest Florida! The rain and storm activity on Monday will be nothing like what we saw on Sunday.
Daytime heating will destabilize the atmosphere and allow for showers and a few storms. No severe weather is expected.
Most of the rain will wrap up by 4 p.m., and you’ll feel drier air mixing in as we approach sunset.
Although we are still in a rainfall deficit, we received a healthy dose over the weekend! Additional rainfall Monday will stay below a tenth of an inch.
