Investigators share suspect sketch in Lehigh Acres deadly shooting

Investigators released a composite drawing of a male suspect Wednesday in connection to a deadly shooting in Lehigh Acres that happened at the end of June.

June 28, Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunfire on Sunrise Boulevard and Genoa Avenue South around 6 p.m. and found two male victims — one dead and the other with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.

According to the Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers Facebook post, the suspect of the shooting is a black male in his mid-20s to early 30s with dreads and a patchy beard. The male was approximately 6-feet tall with a medium build.

Investigators say the male suspect was accompanied by a heavyset, white female in her 30s with blonde hair or highlights and approximately 5-feet, 4-inches tall.

The suspects were driving a small black four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai Accent or Nissan Versa. The vehicle should have damage to the front bumper on the passenger side and possible gunshot defects to the passenger side of the vehicle.
