The above-average heat will remain with us into the weekend. Monday’s fire danger index will be slightly lower than Sunday’s. Still, Lee County is under a Very High index. A few inland showers will be possible from the afternoon into the early overnight hours. The majority of these showers will form in our inland zones. Small rain chances will persist throughout the workweek. Despite Monday’s winds being breezy at times, our boating forecast looks fantastic.
