Police need help finding a man suspected of robbing a dollar store in Cape Coral at knifepoint on Thursday night.
The Cape Coral Police Department’s major crimes unit says it is looking for a man around 5’4” to 5’6” and between 40 and 50 years old, with short black, thinning hair, last seen wearing a Tupac t-shirt, light gray gym shorts and blue sneakers. At around 9:30 p.m., CCPD says he went to the Dollar General at 924 NE Pine Island Road, brandished a large knife and demanded money before exiting the store and leaving in a silver SUV, possibly a 2000s model Mercedes-Benz with dark tints (license plate number unknown).
