Mars Wrigley Confectionary has announced a recall of Skittles Gummies, Starburst Gummies and Life Savers Gummies.

The recall is due to the potential presence of a very thin metal strand embedded in the gummies or loose in the bag.

The company said it received reports from consumers but the company is not aware of any illnesses to date.

The products were manufactured by a third party and distributed in the U.S.

On the package, there is a 10-digit manufacturing code, the first three digits in the code will indicate implicated products.

To see the list of products, visit the Federal Drug Administration website.
