Two men were arrested Thursday evening and early Friday morning after Naples police say they were caught in separate curfew violations.

According to the Naples Police Department, Juan Baca, 28, was pulled over for a traffic violation on Thursday evening after officers thought he was suspiciously parked near North Lake Beach End. When stopped, he could not identify the owner of the vehicle and gave officers several false names. Baca was identified as a North Carolina resident with an out-of-state warrant for arrest.

Baca was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center. He faces charges of curfew violation, no driver’s license and providing a false name to officers.

Craig Stokes, 51, was stopped after officers say he drove suspiciously in the area of Royal Harbor around 3:45 a.m. on Friday morning. When asked why he was breaking the city’s curfew, Stokes said he was helping a friend clean up and that he works for a pool company in Bonita Springs. Stokes was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and cannabis.

Along with drug charges, he also faces a charge of driving on a suspended license from another state.
