A 45-year-old Fort Myers man has been sentenced to almost five years in federal prison for selling an undercover agent a gun and drugs.

Ronald Dale Perkins will spend four years and nine months in federal prison, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Perkins pleaded guilty in September.

The press release states Perkins, a nine-time convicted felon, was arrested in April after selling a sawed-off .410 caliber shotgun and methamphetamine to an undercover ATF special agent.
