News Philosophy

Its my goal to impact those who read or view my stories for the better, whether that be by keeping them informed daily or by giving them the platform to share their own story. Like the saying goes, “Journalism is the first draft of history,” and I'm glad to be able to tell it!

Education

University of Florida, Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications with an outside concentration in History.

Birthplace

I was born in Hialeah, Florida, and raised in Tampa.

Hobbies, Interests & Community Involvement

When I'm not working, I'm a full-time dog mom to a miniature goldendoodle named Wendy. I love finding new places to explore together. My favorite thing to do is spend time with friends and family. I love gardening, reading, watching movies and learning how to cook new things!

Favorite thing (what you like best) about Southwest Florida

Being close to my family! And, the weather. It's hard to beat year-round sunshine.
