High temperatures will reach the upper 70s and low 80s under mostly cloudy skies. Nicole will bring gusty winds and heavy rain to Southwest Florida, especially in the morning. Gulf wave heights are expected to reach 6 to 9 feet, with very rough conditions expected within our bays.

Rain chances will persist all morning and into Thursday night. Nicole will move within or just north of Southwest Florida in the morning.

By the afternoon, it will lift into the Tampa Bay area and begin to drop the impacts we will see.

Rain and gusty winds will be the primary threats, although these impacts will not be significant. Our northeasternmost counties within the WINK viewing area will experience the strongest impacts, with Collier County seeing the least.
