WINK News Meteorologist Zach Maloch is tracking a cooler start to your Wednesday following the severe weather conditions of Tuesday night.

Here’s what to expect for the next three days:

Wednesday: Clouds are clearing out this morning as Southwest Florida will see a cooler and less humid start to the day. The forecast will call for more sun than clouds today and pleasant conditions. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Thursday: Chilly start to the day with temperatures in the lower to mid-50s. More clouds will accumulate around the area with isolated rain in the morning and afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Friday: Milder morning with temperatures in the lower to mid 60s. A few showers will be possible through the day as a warm front will spread north across the state. We’ll see a warm and windy afternoon with sustained winds from the south at 15 to 25 mph. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Friday Night / Saturday Morning: A line of storms will be approaching late Friday night and will weaken as they move through our area early Saturday morning.

The Storm Prediction Center has Charlotte County and areas north under a Level 1 Risk for Severe Storms, but again, these storms will be weakening as they head into Southwest Florida. Regardless of the storm chances, showers move out through the morning, and we’ll be in for a drier Saturday afternoon.
