Vehicle from Wednesday’s carjacking recovered, FMPD still searching for suspect

The vehicle that was carjacked on Wednesday in Fort Myers was recovered on Wednesday, according to Fort Myers Police.

FMPD did not mention where the car was located, and they still have not caught the suspect involved in the carjacking.

Witnesses say, on Wednesday a person stole car and fired a gun out the window as they were speeding away.

Fort Myers police confirm, at 11:28 a.m. a witness reported that a man in his mid to late 20’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants ran up to a dark brown 2014 Honda CRV and told the driver out of the vehicle.
